Today, on the eve of Christmas, after waiting for 100 days for Patriarch Moses to show his regret and desire to preserve UAOC-C as the church of God, we declare: to maintain fidelity to God and life in His Divine Truth, according to decisions taken at the enlarged meeting of the clergy on September 29 and church meetings on October 11 and December 29 2013, the Kyiv community, its clergy, the faithful and the church buildings built by their hands shall not have any relation to the Patriarch Moses and shall not belong to the UAOC-C since 29 September 2013.

We heard the Gospel (Luke, XIV:16-24), which stated that one host arranged a great dinner for his friends. What did Jesus Christ mean by this dinner? Of course, he meant, above all, those Jewish priests, whom the Lord prepared since Abraham. It was, as you know, the chosen people. And the Lord did everything in order to teach these people the truth, and through them to save the world. This continued for many thousands of years. You remember Abraham, Jacob, King David, Solomon. And now the time has come when the Lord revealed to them His Son. The dinner is the knowledge of God, the truth, which God prepared for this chosen people....

Samson is chosen by God to destroy the Philistines, who have occupied the land of Canaan. He is given the greatest strength ever known to man as long as he remains true to his vow and its conditions, yet he still is not convinced of his purpose, preferring instead to spend his time with Philistine company. He eventually falls in love with a Philistine girl, decides to marry her, but is betrayed by her on his wedding day. He soon learns she was blackmailed by the Philistine lords who are plotting his demise, and goes to reclaim her, but she has been murdered along with her entire family.
